“My Trip to Jordan” is part of Kitabi, a bilingual picture book series by Joozoori. This engaging children’s book takes young readers on a magical journey through Jordan, showcasing its landmarks, traditions, and rich cultural heritage. With vibrant, detailed illustrations, it brings Jordan’s beauty to life, making the reading experience immersive and visually captivating. Through an imaginative storyline, the book helps children and families explore Jordan’s history, nature, and identity, fostering a deeper connection to their Arab heritage.

This book holds a special place in my heart—it was the project that marked my decision to shift to illustration full-time. I initially hesitated to take on the commission due to time constraints and the fact that I had never visited Jordan. Yet, the publisher and art director believed in me, and for that, I’m truly grateful. Extensive research allowed me to illustrate Jordan so faithfully that Jordanians who read it assumed I had visited the country, which remains one of the most rewarding aspects of this project.
